Open Meetings
Tees Valley Village Halls Network supports its training events with lively and informed discussions. The Training Workshops for the members of Village Hall and Community Building Management Committees have proved very popular. Participants have told us they thoroughly enjoyed the sessions, learnt a lot and had been encouraged and inspired by meeting committee members from other halls. Network Hubs Member halls that are geographically close to each other are encouraged to meet on a regular basis for informal discussions on common issues. This is an excellent opportunity to share experience and expertise. Consultations The Steering Group and its officers are in regular contact with Tees Valley Rural Action and have representation on the Village Halls Reference Group which meets quarterly to review the Village Halls Advisory Service. |
Training Events
Training workshops for village hall management committees are held across the area on a quarterly basis subject to demand and available funding. Newsletter The Network newsletter is published three times a year and distributed to all rural halls in the Tees Valley. The newsletter features a spotlight on one of the member halls, information on changes in regulations which impact on hall management committees and details of forthcoming Network Events. Copies of recent newsletters may be downloaded from the Publications page. |
