Training workshops We host quarterly workshops for village hall management committees subject to demand and available funding. The workshops cover a wide variety of topics and subjects and are a good way to learn more about running a village hall. Participants tell us the sessions are useful and fun and its great for committee members from other halls to meet up. Newsletter The network newsletter is published three times a year and distributed to all rural halls in the Tees Valley. The newsletter features a spotlight on one of the member halls, information on changes in regulations which impact on hall management committees and details of forthcoming events. Please let us know if you have a story or news you'd like to share
Network hubs Member halls that are geographically close to each other are encouraged to meet on a regular basis for informal discussions on common issues. This is an excellent opportunity to share experience and expertise.
Consultations We are in regular contact with Tees Valley Rural Action and have representation on the Village Halls Reference Group which meets quarterly to review the Village Halls Advisory Service. This means we are aware of any changes or information that is useful to our members and can share it at the earliest opportunity.
