About Our Village

Boosbeck is a village in the borough of Redcar and Cleveland and the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire, England.
The name is Viking in origin and means "the stream near a cow shed".

Situated in the heart of Boosbeck and formerly known as the Community Centre, the Village Hall exists to enrich and enhance the lives of the village residents.
In April 2017 a new Committee was voted in to serve Boosbeck Village Hall (formerly the Community Centre) for the next year. The Village Hall will soon be re-launched and details of this event will follow soon.

Campaign  We are always looking for ways of improving what is on offer at the Village Hall and are keen to hear of any ideas or suggestions that you may have.
We also welcome all residents in becoming involved with the Village Hall and there are a number of ways that you can do this (something which also can enhance your CV). If you would like to be involved Contact Us.

​Over 40s
The Over 40s takes place every Monday between 2pm and 4pm. 
Come along for a a cuppa, chat and a game of bingo.

The Community Centre can also be used for weddings, birthday parties and conferences.....

Information on this page is provided by the hall committee. Hiring will be subject to a formal Hiring Agreement between the hall committee and the hirer. Current hire charges can be obtained from the contact person named above.
