It features a sprung timber floor and it is popular with dancers; it includes a raised permanent stage area in front of which an extension enables larger staged undertakings; such as pantomimes! (Use of the extension is by special arrangement when first booking and depends on the timing of other bookings.) This Hall is a very well lit and airy room. Its ambience is softened by substantial curtaining to the walls and windows making it very suitable for social events, concerts and similar functions. The Main Hall opens out onto a large paved Patio inviting guests outside on warm summer evenings making it particularly suitable for a barbeque event. Activity Room This is a smaller but carpeted room providing a friendly atmosphere for Receptions, Club and Tutorial activities, Meetings and Buffet Dining. The hatch to the kitchen enables the serving of food in this room. Bar Here the wide serving hatch opens into the Main Hall from the bar area which itself is open plan into the Kitchen. Appointments include shelving, Wine Cooler, Deep Freeze and glass washing in the commercial washer. Our own glass is available in large quantities and a variety of types. The Kitchen is rated very highly by caterers with its large work areas, cooker, continuous boiling water unit for hot drinks, larder fridge and the commercial sized heated mobile food trolley and high speed commercial washer.
